Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe the leather with a damp cloth and let it dry away from radiators. Condition it once or twice a year so the distressed finish doesn't dry out, brush the cream trim if it mats, and keep it out of the washing machine.
Size & Fit
Close through the body, the way flying jackets usually are, with room for a sweater. Go with your regular size. If you're between sizes or plan to layer heavily, pick the next size up and use the side straps to take in the waist. A brown leather shearling jacket for women, cut along the lines of a B3 bomber. The thick cream shearling collar stands up around the neck, with a leather strap to hold it shut in the wind. The leather is distressed, the zip sits slightly off-center, and dark leather binding picks out the seams front and back.
Two slanted pockets sit low on the front. At the hips, a leather band carries a buckled strap on each side for taking the waist in a little. The same cream shearling edges the hem and the cuffs, and the jacket stops at the hip.
The leather
The brown is uneven, darker in the creases and lighter on the high points, so it already looks like it has been through a few winters. Scuffs and small marks sink into it instead of standing out. Distressed leather ages differently from the smooth finishes on our other women’s shearling leather jackets, and this one gains depth as it creases to your shape.
