How to measure a jacket you already own

  • Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
  • Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
  • Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
  • Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
  • Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description

From the front, this women's cognac cafe racer jacket is one clean sweep of leather: a tall funnel collar, a flap that hides the off-center zipper, and no belts, studs or chest pockets to interrupt it. The lambskin is cut close to the body and stops at the hip.

Plain Lines of a Women's Cognac Cafe Racer Jacket

Undo the top of the zipper and the flap folds back into a broad lapel. Zipped up, the collar stands against your neck. Two slim welt pockets sit at the sides, one more pocket is inside, and the lining is polyester. Long panel seams run down the front and back and shape the waist, and the cuffs are plain. Cognac Lambskin Finish

This cognac lambskin jacket has a smooth sheen with natural shading, darker in places and lighter where the light hits. The color deepens with wear and handling, and small marks tend to settle into the finish. It is also part of the wider range of women's leather jackets.

Slim through the chest and waist. Your usual size works over a T-shirt or a light knit with the collar zipped up, and one size up gives room for a thicker sweater.
