Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Keep it out of strong sunlight when it's not on, since bright red fades. Wipe it with a damp cloth, dry it away from heat and condition it once or twice a year to keep the polish. Don't machine wash it.
Size & Fit
Slim through the body and short, ending at the waist. Take your usual size over a T-shirt or a thin top, and go up one for a sweater underneath. The belt adjusts the hem a little. A women’s red leather biker jacket with a high polish. Everything a biker’s leather jacket should have is here, just in red: lapels that snap down at the points, a zip that runs across the front at an angle, a belt with a square buckle around the hem and epaulettes on metal snaps.
There are two vertical zipped pockets on the chest and a small snap-flap pocket low on one side. At the back, a panel of ribbed stitching sits just above the belt, and seams across the sleeves break them into sections, which is more detail than a classic biker leather jacket usually carries. It’s short, ending at the waist, so it looks best over high-waisted jeans or a skirt. You’ll find it with the rest of our women’s biker leather jackets.
The leather
Red leather with a glossy, polished surface that shows the natural grain up close. The shine softens with wear and the color deepens where the leather creases, at the elbows and around the belt, so it looks better after a year than it does new. That happens to any biker style leather jacket, but red shows it more than black.
