Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.
If nothing on the chart fits, made to measure is free. The eight body measurements we need are on the product page, just above the Add to cart button. A jacket cut to your measurements cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged or faulty, so check each figure first.

Description
A women's oversized red leather jacket in a deep brick shade, closer to rust than to fire-engine red. The leather has a heavy, crinkled grain that catches the light unevenly, and the cut is a loose bomber with raglan sleeves, a stand collar and a straight center zip.
Elastic gathers the cuffs and hem, so the sleeves puff out over the wrists and the body balloons slightly at the waist. Two vertical welt pockets sit low on the front, each with a snap tab, below a seam that runs across the body. It works well with denim, from straight jeans to a short skirt. Against the smooth finishes on most of our women's custom leather jackets, this one is all texture.
The leather
The surface has a deep, irregular pebble, almost like a shrunken grain, so no two panels look quite the same. Red doesn't come up often on custom leather jackets for women, and this shade leans brown rather than bright. The texture hides scuffs well and gives the color depth, darker in the creases and lighter on the raised grain.
Fit and sizing
Roomy through the body and sleeves, as the name says. Take your usual size for the loose shape in the photos, or size down for a closer fit. There's room for a knit underneath, and the elastic at the cuffs and hem stops it swamping you. Care
Wipe it with a damp cloth and use a soft brush to lift dust out of the grain. Condition it once or twice a year with a cream, working it into the texture, and keep it out of strong sun, which can fade red leather.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
