Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description
A women's gray suede shearling jacket, lined in white pile that folds out at the neck into wide notched lapels. The zip runs off-center like a biker's, from the base of the collar to the hem, so you can wear the lapels open and flat or zip it higher and turn the collar up.
A suede belt with a silver buckle wraps the waist and passes through belt loops, and a strip of shearling shows at the hem below it. Two zipped pockets sit at an angle on the front, the sleeves have a panel seam at the elbow, and narrow trim finishes the cuffs. The gray is a soft mid-tone that goes with black, navy and denim, which makes it easier to wear with what you already own than most women's shearling leather jackets.
The suede and shearling
The suede has a fine, even nap and a flat matte finish, and it moves easily at the shoulders and elbows from the start. The lining runs through the body, so a women's shearling-lined leather jacket like this one holds heat far better than its weight suggests and will handle days around freezing without much underneath.
Fit and sizing
Regular through the body, with room for a light sweater even with the pile inside. Pick your usual size and use the belt to pull the waist in. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one, or choose Made to Measure at no extra charge and we'll cut it to the numbers you send. Care
Go over the suede with a soft brush to lift the nap, and use a suede protector spray before the first wear. If it gets wet, let it dry away from heat, then brush it. It can't go in the washing machine.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
