How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
The front of this men's vintage brown shearling jacket is busy in a good way: a diagonal zipper, a buckled belt and a rounded dark panel that holds two pockets. Around it all, the sheepskin has a mottled, olive-leaning brown finish.
Distressed brown against dark trim
The finish is uneven on purpose, with lighter and darker patches and fine cracks, so the jacket looks broken in from day one. Dark brown leather binds the zipper and runs along the shoulder seams, and it stays smooth against the rough body. The cream shearling collar opens into wide lapels, or closes up into a tall pointed one. The lining is shearling too, which you can browse across our men's shearling jackets range. Pockets, belt and cuffs
The panel on the front carries one zipped pocket and one small snap-flap pocket, and two more zipped hand pockets sit lower on each side. The dark belt buckles near the zipper and hooks to snap tabs at the sides. The back is seamed in panels, and each cuff has a small zipper. Put together, it reads closer to our men's biker leather jackets than to a flight jacket.
Cut of the men's vintage brown shearling jacket
It is tailored, somewhere between slim and regular, and ends at the hip. The belt lets you cinch the waist or let it hang, and the snap tabs at the sides hold it in place. If a standard size is slightly off, we offer a free made to measure cut. As a men's biker leather jacket in shearling, it is easy to layer under.

Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
