How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
The B3 started out as a cold-weather flying jacket for bomber crews, and this one keeps the parts that made it warm. The wide shearling collar turns up over the ears, shearling trims the cuffs and hem, and a leather belt at the waist closes the bottom against the wind. It's a men's shearling jacket in black sheepskin, with tan fleece showing at every edge.
It closes on a straight front zip. Two slanted hand pockets sit in the front panels, and seams across the chest, back and elbows give the leather its paneled look. It's a shearling bomber jacket for real winter, cut short so it stays out of the way when you sit or drive, and the warmest of our men's shearling jackets.
The sheepskin
Sheepskin is softer and lighter than cowhide, so even a heavy winter jacket like this bends at the elbows and shoulders from the first wear. On a leather and shearling jacket the two sides age differently: the black leather creases and keeps a low sheen, while the tan fleece flattens where the collar folds back. A brush brings it up again.

Care
Wipe the leather with a damp cloth and keep the shearling dry. If it gets soaked, let it dry slowly at room temperature, then brush the fleece. Store it on a wide hanger with space around it. Don't machine wash it.

Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
