Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.
If nothing on the chart fits, made to measure is free. The eight body measurements we need are on the product page, just above the Add to cart button. A jacket cut to your measurements cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged or faulty, so check each figure first.

- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Test any conditioner on the inside of a hem first, since some can darken red and burgundy leather. Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth and let it dry naturally. Hang it on a wide hanger, and never put it in the washer.
Size & Fit
Shaped at the waist, with enough room for a shirt or a thin knit under it. Your normal size should be right, and the belt lets you pull in the hem if the body feels loose. For thick sweaters, size up. The size guide on this page lists the chest and sleeve measurements. A women’s burgundy leather biker jacket, with the usual moto details picked out in silver. The zip runs at an angle from the belt up to the collar, and the wide lapels fold back and snap down at the points.
Two zipped pockets sit one above the other on the chest, with another zipped pocket on each hip. A belt with a silver buckle goes around the hem through side loops, so you can wear it cinched or hanging loose. Everything on it comes off a biker’s leather jacket; only the color is unusual. The leather
The leather is smooth, with a soft feel and a slight sheen that brings out the depth of the burgundy. It wears in the same way black leather does, creasing at the elbows and softening around the belt and pockets. Regular conditioning keeps the color rich and stops the surface from drying out.
