How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Clean it with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to dry at room temperature. Once or twice a year, work in a little conditioner. Hang it on a broad hanger so the collar and shoulders keep their shape. Never machine wash it.

The zip on this slim black leather jacket is set off-center and finished in a bronze tone, softer than the usual silver. It runs up from the hem, bends toward the neck at a single snap, and ends at a pointed collar that stands tall at the back and falls open at the front.
Nothing interrupts the front: no outside pockets or belts, just long seams that shape the waist and let the hem flare slightly over the hips. The sleeves are cut in panels, with seams above and below the elbow. Inside there’s a satin lining and two pockets for a phone and cards. Among our women’s leather jackets this is the quiet one.
The leather
Smooth black leather with a slightly waxy feel and a gentle shine. It’s pliable, so the paneled sleeves bend easily at the elbow, and it holds the close shape of the body well. After a season of wear it relaxes further, and the shine becomes softer and more even.
