A cognac lambskin jacket with a tall funnel collar, an off-center zip tucked under a wide front flap and two slim welt pockets at the sides.

Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.
If nothing on the chart fits, made to measure is free. The eight body measurements we need are on the product page, just above the Add to cart button. A jacket cut to your measurements cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged or faulty, so check each figure first.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from heat. Condition it once or twice a year, testing the conditioner on an inside seam first, as it can darken a cognac finish slightly.
Size & Fit
Slim through the chest and waist, like most women's cafe racer leather jackets. Take your usual size to wear it over a T-shirt or a light knit with the collar zipped up. If you're between sizes, or want room for a thicker sweater, go one size up. The size guide has the measurements, and made to measure is free, so you can send yours and have the jacket cut to them.
A women’s cafe racer jacket in cognac lambskin, cut close to the body, with a tall collar that stands up around the neck. The zip runs off-center and hides under a wide flap, so from the front you see one clean sweep of leather from the collar down to the hem. Undo the top of the zip and the flap folds back into a broad lapel.
Otherwise it keeps the plain lines of a cafe racer, with no belts, studs or chest pockets. Two slim welt pockets sit at the sides, there’s one more inside, and long panel seams shape it through the waist. Wear it with jeans and boots, or over a knit dress. It sits with the rest of our custom leather jackets for women.
The leather
Lambskin is one of the softest leathers used for jackets. This one has a waxy cognac finish with natural shading, darker in places and lighter where the light hits. The color deepens with wear and handling, and small marks tend to blend into the finish instead of standing out.
