Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from heaters. Condition it once or twice a year and brush dust out of the quilting lines. Hang it on a wide hanger so the lapels keep their shape, and don't machine wash it.
Size & Fit
Close through the chest and shoulders, like most biker jackets, and cut to the hip. Take your usual size for a T-shirt or shirt underneath, and one size up to zip it over a sweater. A men’s leather biker jacket in black, cut in the classic asymmetric shape, with the zip running off center and wide notched lapels that fold back over the chest. Brass snaps hold the lapel tips down. Quilted panels cover the tops of the shoulders at the front and back, stitched in a diamond grid.
All four front pockets are zipped: two upright at the hands and two smaller ones across the hem band. The zips and snaps are antique brass rather than silver, which looks warmer against the black. Snap tabs close the cuffs and the back of the hem band. It’s one of our men’s quilted leather jackets, with the stitching kept to the shoulder panels.
The leather
Smooth black leather with a natural grain and a low sheen. Plenty of men’s biker leather jackets are stiff for the first month; this one is soft enough to move in from the start, and the satin lining slides easily over a shirt. Expect creases at the elbows and across the front within a few months, which is when a biker jacket starts to look right.
