How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
Orange-tan leather trim outlines nearly every panel on this men's shearling aviator bomber jacket, from the shoulders to the zipper to the pocket openings. The dark brown leather behind it is matte and a little rough, which makes the trim stand out even more.
Trim, belt and buckles
The collar is cream shearling. A tan strap closes one side, and a small metal buckle sits on the other. Two slanted pockets close with zippers and are framed in the same trim. A tan leather belt with a metal buckle circles the hem, and each cuff has its own buckle strap. On the back the trim draws a grid of panels. The bomber shape shows in the cut, which is why it is filed under men's bomber jackets.
Where the wool sits
This shearling leather bomber keeps the wool to the collar, cuffs and hem, so the body stays lighter. Inside the body it is lined with viscose. Cream shearling turns out at the cuffs and around the hem under the belt. The trim is smooth leather in a rusty orange, and the shell is dark brown, so every seam is easy to read from a distance. That keeps it closer to a men's shearling jacket in the collar and cuffs only.
