How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
Our take on the brown leather jacket Chris Evans wears as Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger. It's chocolate brown leather with a grained, slightly aged surface, wide notched lapels and a brass zip that crosses the chest at an angle before dropping straight to the hem.
There's a vertical zip pocket on the left chest and a big flap pocket low on the right. The cuffs close with a leather strap and buckle. At the back, a yoke runs across the shoulders and a waist panel carries a buckled tab at each side, like an old motorcycle jacket. Worn open, the lapels fold back wide; zipped up, it sits closer to the body. If you want the same brown without the buckles and lapels, the rest of our biker leather jackets for men are plainer.
The leather
The leather has a light grain pressed into the surface and a rubbed finish that's darker in some places than others, so it looks like a jacket with a few years on it from the first day. Scuffs blend into that finish, and the elbows and lapels soften and crease with use.

It's cut as a regular leather jacket for men, with room through the chest, so a T-shirt, a henley or a thin sweater goes underneath. Take your usual size, or one up to zip it over a thicker knit. Chest and sleeve measurements are in the size guide. If you're hard to fit off the peg, order it as one of our custom made leather jackets, at no extra cost, and send your own chest, waist and sleeve.
Care
Dust it with a soft dry cloth. If it gets wet, let it dry at room temperature, away from heat. Condition it once or twice a year, and use a wide hanger so the lapels keep their shape.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
