Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description
A long-haired shearling collar spreads across the shoulders of this women's black leather shearling jacket and frames the face. The zip runs on a diagonal up to the collar, so one side of the collar folds over the other at the neck when it's closed.
Below the collar, the body is black leather with a soft, matte finish, shaped with panel seams front and back so it follows the waist. The same shearling is turned back at the cuffs and shows along the hem. It's warm enough for real winter days and still looks neat over a dress or with slim jeans and boots. The shearling
The collar and cuffs are long-pile shearling, thick and soft to the touch, and the outer leather has a matte, slightly brushed look with no shine. It's a leather and shearling jacket rather than a full sheepskin coat, so the weight stays down. Brush the pile now and then to keep it full, and expect the leather to pick up a faint sheen where it rubs.
Fit and sizing
Fitted at the waist and close through the sleeves, so it keeps a neat shape under that big collar. Your normal size works over a thin knit. If you want to layer a thick sweater under it, go up one size. Measure a jacket you like and compare it with the size guide, or send us your own measurements and have it made to measure at no extra cost.
Care
Shearling and brushed leather don't like water. Take dust off with a soft suede brush, blot wet spots straight away and let them dry naturally. Store it on a wide hanger with space around the collar.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
