How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description
The usual women's cafe racer jacket, shortened to the waist and cut in black lambskin. It keeps the stand collar with a snap tab, the straight zip and the ribbed padding over the shoulders, but the body stops on a stitched band where a longer racer would carry on to the hip.
A yoke seam crosses the chest just below the padding, and two zipped pockets run up and down the sides of the front. The sleeves are long and plain, with no cuff zips. Because the hem sits at the waist, this cropped leather jacket looks best with high-waisted jeans, pants or a skirt, and it layers neatly over a longer top or a dress. The leather
Lambskin is soft and light, which suits a short jacket you might keep on in a warm room. The surface is smooth with a gentle shine, and after a few weeks it shapes itself to your shoulders and arms. The ribbed shoulder panels are padded, so they hold their shape as the rest of the leather softens.

Care
Keep it on a shaped hanger so the padded shoulders stay square. Wipe marks off with a damp cloth and let the leather dry naturally. Condition it once or twice a year.

- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
