Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe the crinkled leather with a damp cloth, working into the creases, and let it dry away from heat. Give the collar a brush when it flattens. Don't wash it, and store it on a hanger rather than folded.
Size & Fit
Straight through the body and hip length, with the knit waistband holding it in at the bottom. Choose between the men's and women's cuts, then take the size you normally wear. A shearling leather jacket cut this straight hangs off the shoulders, so there's no need to size up unless you want room for a hoodie. Crinkled black sheepskin makes up the whole shell of this men’s black shearling bomber jacket. The surface is creased all over, so light catches each panel differently, and the jacket looks broken in from the first time you put it on. You can see the difference next to the smooth leather in the men’s shearling jacket range.
Everything else is simple and all black. A black shearling collar sits above a center zip, two vertical welt pockets are cut into the front, and knit bands finish the cuffs and the waistband. A T-shirt underneath is enough on a cool evening, and a hoodie fits under it when the weather turns.
The finish
The crinkled texture covers the whole jacket, sleeves and back included. It gives the leather a slightly glossy, uneven look and hides small scuffs better than the smooth black leather jackets for men we make, which suits a jacket you’ll reach for often. With wear, the creases at the elbows and shoulders deepen and become part of the pattern.
