Men's Size Guide

Every figure below is the jacket itself, measured flat, not your body. Double the flat chest and flat waist to get the measurement all the way around, or read the doubled figures from the rows marked around. All figures are in inches. Each jacket is cut to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own

  • Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
  • Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
  • Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
  • Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
  • Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

If nothing here fits, made to measure is free. The eight measurements sit on the product page, just above the Add to cart button. A jacket cut to your own measurements can't be returned for fit, so check your figures before you order.

Description

The Marek is a men's leather biker jacket in dark cognac lambskin with a distressed, vintage finish, cut on the classic asymmetric pattern. Diamond quilting covers the shoulders and upper sleeves and stops at a seam above the elbow, and there's a quilted oval patch on the back of each elbow.

On the front there are three zipped pockets, two upright ones high on the sides of the chest and a small angled one low on the left, plus a pocket inside. Two buckle straps sit on each side of the waist, a ribbed band runs across the lower back, and the cuffs zip open. There's no armor inside, so treat it as an everyday jacket rather than riding gear. If you want it plainer, the rest of our men's biker leather jackets are worth a look.

The leather

Lambskin is soft and light, so the jacket bends at the elbows and shoulders from the first day. The distressed finish gives it an uneven tone, lighter on the raised areas and darker in the seams, and new creases and scuffs simply blend into it.

Fit and sizing

Slim through the chest and waist, like most biker jackets, and meant for a T-shirt or a thin knit underneath. Take your usual size, or go up one if you want room for a sweater. Where your chest and shoulders want different sizes, made to measure is free, and custom made leather jackets are cut to the figures you send. The size guide has chest and sleeve measurements.

Care

Dust it off with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of heavy rain and away from direct heat. A little conditioner once or twice a year keeps lambskin supple. Store it on a broad hanger, never in plastic.
