Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe off dust and marks with a soft, damp cloth and let it air dry. A leather conditioner twice a year keeps it supple. Hang it on a padded hanger so the shoulders hold their shape. Machine washing will ruin it.
Size & Fit
A regular fit that's shaped at the waist, so there's room for a blouse or a fine knit but not much more. Order your usual size. If you run between sizes or plan to layer a sweater, go one up. Clean lines and very little hardware. This women’s cafe racer leather jacket comes in black, with a low stand collar and a snap tab, a straight silver zip and two slanted zipped pockets at the hips. The texture comes from ribbed padding stitched across each shoulder and down the top of the sleeve.
Seams curve in at the waist, front and back, so the jacket follows the body without clinging. It ends at the hip, and with nothing on the chest it goes over a T-shirt and jeans as easily as over a blouse and work pants. Snap the collar tab shut to keep the wind off your neck. The leather
Smooth black leather with a soft sheen that catches the light on the shoulder padding. It starts out with some body and loosens up over the first weeks of wear, creasing at the elbows and around the pockets. Creases like these are normal on a cafe racer, and they won’t crack if you condition the leather now and then.
