How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description
The hem is the first thing you notice on this vegan leather bomber jacket. It is gathered on elastic, so the body puffs out a little above it and the shape stays soft instead of boxy. The color is a deep burgundy that sits close to oxblood.
What the shell is made of
The outer shell is vegan leather, a coated material and not animal hide. In the photos it has a smooth, even sheen, with soft creases gathering in the sleeves and at the hem. This burgundy bomber jacket keeps a clean, glossy surface instead of a grainy one. It is one of the roomy cuts in our oversized women's leather jackets, so the sleeves and body hang loose.
The vegan leather bomber jacket, piece by piece
On the bubble hem bomber, a stand collar rises straight up from the neck, and a center YKK zipper runs the full length of the front. Two zipped pockets sit nearly upright on either side of it. The shoulders drop past the natural line and lead into full sleeves with curved seams down the back of the arm, while a yoke seam crosses the upper back. The cuffs are plain. Our women's bomber jackets include other shapes if you want something less rounded.
Fit and wear
This is cut oversized through the body and sleeves on purpose, and it ends just below the waist. Close it over a knit sweater for a rounded silhouette, or leave it open over a fitted top as the model does. The sleeves are full, so a sweater under it still leaves room to move your arms. If your numbers fall between sizes, send them in for a free made to measure version.

- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
