How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description
Everything about this oversized black leather jacket points to volume. The collar stands tall enough to reach your jaw when zipped, the shoulders drop well past their natural line and the sleeves stay wide down to the cuff instead of tapering. The hem draws in slightly on elastic, so the body balloons a little above it.
Soft folds in black lambskin
The shell is lambskin, thin and supple, and that is what lets a cut this large fall in loose folds rather than stand away from the body. In the photos the black has a bright shine, with darker creases where the sleeves and waist gather. Those folds will settle into their own pattern with wear. It is a black lambskin jacket meant to hang, not hold a shape, and it sits with the other roomy cuts in our oversized leather jackets for women.
An oversized black leather jacket with nothing extra
A straight center YKK zipper with a silver pull does the closing. Two vertical zipped pockets sit in the side seams, and the cuffs are wide and open. There is no quilting, no trim and no belt, so the shape carries the design. Open the zipper and the collar folds down flat, as in the fourth photo. If you want a closer shape, the rest of our women's leather jackets follow the body more.
Sizing a women's oversized leather jacket
Order your usual size for the loose, dropped-shoulder look you see on the model. Go down one size if you want it closer to the body. It ends at the hip and goes over a turtleneck and pants without crowding them. Between sizes, a free made to measure fit is available at no cost.

Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
