- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.

- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Give it a wipe with a damp cloth after wet days and leave it to dry on a wide hanger, well away from radiators. Condition it once or twice a year, including the inside of the collar. Never put it in the wash.
Size & Fit
Slim, with a close cut through the body and sleeves. It's best over a T-shirt or a fine knit. Take your usual size, and go up one if you want to zip the collar over a thicker layer. Made to measure is free here as well, and like the rest of our custom made leather jackets it starts from the chest and sleeve you send. If you're unsure, the size guide has both measurements.
The collar is the point of this jacket. It stands tall and the zip runs right up to the top of it, so it keeps the wind off your neck without a scarf. Below it you have a slim black leather jacket for men, clean at the front, with a straight zip up the center.
Raised, piped seams give it its lines. They run from the shoulders down the front to the hem and along the raglan sleeves. There are two upright side pockets, a band at the hem and short zips at the cuffs. At the back, a shaped yoke seam crosses the shoulders and the rest is left plain. It’s one of the quieter leather jackets for men we make.
The leather
The leather is smooth and black, with a soft sheen that picks out the raised seams. It bends easily at the elbows and around the collar, and over the first few months of wear it takes on the shape of your shoulders and arms. Light scuffs can be buffed out with a little conditioner.
