Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Dust it with a dry cloth and wipe off marks with a damp one. Glossy lambskin shows scratches, so keep sharp bag hardware away from it. A light leather conditioner twice a year stops it drying out. Hang it up and don't machine wash it.
Size & Fit
Straight and roomy in the body with a squared shoulder. Most women take their usual size. If you're between sizes, or want to layer over a thick knit, go up. For a less boxy shape, go down one. There’s no visible zip on this cropped leather jacket. A placket covers it all the way from the hem to the spread collar, and the only other details on the front are two flap pockets, one low on each side. The black lambskin has a high shine, and the cut is boxy and short.
Light shoulder padding keeps the top of the jacket straight across, and the sleeves run long and straight. The back has nothing on it but its seams. Put it on over a fine knit and wide pants, or over a mini skirt. The hem lands right at the waistband, so it pairs best with high-rise pieces. The leather
Lambskin is among the lightest leathers used for jackets, and this black one has a polished, glossy surface. It’s supple enough to move easily at the elbows and shoulders. Expect fine creases to form along the arms over the first months, and the shine to mellow a little as the leather gets worn.
