Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe dust off with a soft damp cloth and let it dry away from heaters. Dark denim and bag straps can mark a light color, so clean those off early. Condition it once a year and keep it on a wide hanger.
Size & Fit
Close through the chest and waist, with narrow sleeves, so it sits over a T-shirt or a thin knit rather than a sweater. Take your usual size, or one up if you want more room. Chest and sleeve figures are in the size guide, or send your own at checkout and we'll cut it to them free, like the rest of our custom made leather jackets.
Orange leather, cut as a plain racer. This men’s orange cafe racer leather jacket has no chest zips, no belt and nothing quilted. The collar is a low stand, and the zip runs straight up the center to the top of it.
One seam crosses the chest under the shoulders, and below it the front is broken only by two slanted welt pockets at the hips. The sleeves run plain to the wrist, with no zip or snap at the cuff, and the body stops at the hip over a narrow hem band. Inside it’s lined in black, which shows along the collar when the zip is down. It’s the loudest color among our men’s cafe racer leather jackets, and it looks best with black or gray.
The leather
The orange is dyed through the surface, so it reads the same across every panel, with small shifts where the grain changes. The finish is smooth and takes a light gloss at the elbows after a few months. A bright color shows scuffs sooner than black, though most rub back out. Next to the black and brown that fill most leather jackets for men, this one gets noticed.
