How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
Hand-waxed cognac lambskin, cut into a plain men's brown leather bomber jacket. The wax leaves the color a little uneven, lighter across the chest and shoulders and deeper along the seams, so no two panels look quite the same. Black rib knit at the collar, cuffs and hem sets off the brown.
It closes on a full-length zip, with a stitched leather wind flap behind it that shows when you wear it open. There are two hand pockets in the front, a zipped utility pocket on the left sleeve, two inside pockets and a phone pocket. With no lapels or hood, it's a casual bomber that fits under a coat or works on its own over a T-shirt. Lambskin makes it the softest of our men's leather bomber jackets.
The finish
Lambskin is the softest of the leathers we use for leather jackets for men, and it needs almost no breaking in. The wax is worked in by hand, which is where the tonal variation in the cognac comes from. Where the jacket bends, at the elbows and pocket edges, the finish shifts in shade and picks up a soft shine over time.

A regular fit, straight through the body, with the rib-knit hem sitting at the waist. Take your usual size for a T-shirt or shirt underneath, or go up one for a hoodie or a heavy knit. You'll find chest and sleeve measurements in the size guide. If none of them match you, Made to Measure costs nothing extra and we cut the pattern to your own chest, waist and sleeve.
Care
Wipe marks off with a dry or barely damp cloth, and let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Don't machine wash or dry clean it, because both strip the wax. Hang it on a broad hanger with some space around it.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
