How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
White wool against near-black hide is the whole idea of this men's black shearling aviator jacket. The pointed collar, the hem and both cuffs carry bright white shearling, so the dark leather in between looks framed.
Smooth shell, shearling inside
The outer leather is smooth, with a low shine and a fine grain you can see up close. Shearling lines the body and turns out at the cuffs and along the bottom edge. Dark brown binding traces the seams, and the front pockets are cut from a slightly browner leather than the rest. As a men's leather jacket with shearling goes, it is a clean, dark one. Straps, buckles and a four-panel back
Two leather straps with punched holes hang from under the collar beside the center zipper, so you can pull the neck shut in a headwind. Two large patch pockets sit low on the front with slanted openings. Small buckle tabs at the sides of the hem take in the waist, and each cuff closes with two silver buckle straps. The cut is boxy and stops just below the waist, so there is room through the chest without extra length. Worn open, the white collar lies wide across the shoulders. Returns
