How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
A tall cream collar that buckles shut at the throat is the first thing on this men's shearling aviator jacket. Then there is the hood, a removable one lined in the same wool, with drawcords hanging down each side.
Black sheepskin over cream wool
The outside is black sheepskin leather with a soft, matte look. The inside is thick cream shearling that turns out at the cuffs and runs along the hem, above a seamed band. Under the turned-out wool, the sleeves finish in plain black leather. Open the front and the lining fills the whole jacket, with a black leather patch pocket sewn inside. Collar, hood and hardware
Two black leather straps cross the collar with brass-tone buckles and eyelets, and you can close them right up to the chin. The eyelets let you set the collar snug or loose, and the thin brown drawcords with metal tips stay visible even with the hood down. The brass-tone YKK zipper runs down the center, and two vertical hand pockets sit low at the sides. The hood comes off, leaving a plain aviator with small buckle tabs at the back of the hem. Fit of the men's shearling aviator jacket
It is a regular cut that ends at the hip, with enough room for a heavy sweater underneath. Drawcords let you pull the hood in around your face, and with the hood off the jacket sits lighter on the shoulders. If you land between sizes, we cut a free made to measure version from your measurements instead.

- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
