Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.

- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
When it needs it, wipe the sheepskin over with a damp cloth, and brush the collar if it mats. A lint roller keeps the knit trims tidy. After a wet day, hang it to air rather than near a heater. Don't wash it.
Size & Fit
Hip length, with a straight body. Take your usual size. The wool inside a leather and shearling jacket takes up an inch or two of the chest, so a thick sweater underneath calls for the next size. Made to Measure is the way round a size chart that doesn't suit you, and it adds nothing to the price. If you're between sizes, compare the figures in the size guide with a jacket you already own.
Knit cuffs and a knit waistband make this men’s black sheepskin bomber jacket a bomber first, while the tan shearling collar gives it the warmth of a B3. The collar stands out against the dark leather and fastens at the throat with two small straps. It’s a leather shearling jacket you can wear to work without looking like you’ve come off an airfield.
The zip is two-way, so you can open it from the bottom when you sit down or drive. On the front are two slanted hand pockets that close with snaps, and there’s a zipped pocket high on the left sleeve, a detail borrowed from flight jackets. Those knit trims are what separate it from the shearling jackets cut for men with leather hems.
The sheepskin
The sheepskin has a slightly waxed, uneven black finish with the grain showing through, so it looks lived-in rather than glossy. Like any men’s shearling jacket, it’s warm because the leather and the wool come from the same hide. It’s soft from the first wear and doesn’t need breaking in, and where it rubs, at the pocket edges and elbows, it will polish up and pick up small creases.
