How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe it with a damp cloth, running along the ribbing rather than across it so dust doesn't collect in the channels. Dry it away from heat, condition the leather once or twice a year and use a padded hanger. Don't machine wash it.
Size & Fit
Slim and shaped at the waist, made to go over a T-shirt, a blouse or a thin knit. Take your usual size; if you're between sizes, or you want room for a sweater, go up one. Horizontal ribbing runs the length of both sleeves on this women’s black leather biker jacket, from the shoulder to the cuff, and a matching ribbed panel covers the lower front on one side. Everything else is smooth black leather, so the texture sits on the arms and one hip and nowhere else. From across a room it reads as a plain biker style leather jacket; the ribbing only shows up close.
It’s cut close, with seams that take the waist in and a hem that flares slightly over the hips. The asymmetric silver zip opens into notched lapels, and a snap at the hem holds the front edge in place. The cuffs zip open over a watch. Under the texture it’s a classic biker leather jacket, like the rest of our women’s biker leather jackets.
The leather
Smooth black leather with a low sheen and a soft hand. The ribbed sections are stitched in narrow channels, which you won’t find on an original leather biker jacket, but they let the sleeves bend at the elbow without bunching and give the arms some structure. The plain panels crease over time; the ribbing keeps its lines.
