How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Description
Wilmer Valderrama wears this men's black leather bomber jacket as Nick Torres in season 14 of NCIS. In the photo it's worn open over a dark plaid shirt. The shape is plain and hip length: a full zip down the front, ribbed knit at the collar, cuffs and hem, and no chest pockets or straps to break up the leather.
That plainness is why it works off screen too. Zipped up, it's a casual bomber for a cold morning. Left open, it hangs straight and sits comfortably over a shirt or a T-shirt, and the knit cuffs keep the sleeves from riding up. It's one of the simplest men's leather jackets we make, which is the point of it.
The leather
Smooth black leather with a soft natural sheen, close to the jacket on screen. Men's leather bomber jackets are meant to look lived in rather than new, and this one gets there quickly: it softens over the first few weeks and creases at the elbows and the inside of the arms.
Fit and sizing
A regular bomber fit, with some room in the body and the knit hem pulling it in at the hip. Take your usual size to wear it over a shirt, or go up one for a hoodie underneath. Care
Wipe the leather with a damp cloth and let it dry naturally. Keep the knit trims away from direct heat so they hold their shape, and condition the leather once or twice a year. Never put it through a washing machine.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
