Every number below is the jacket itself, measured flat on a table, not your body. The chest and waist figures cover half the jacket, so double them for the measurement all the way around. Each jacket is cut and sewn after you order, to the size on your order.

How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

- Each jacket is made to order. It takes 5–7 days to make and check, then 6–7 days in transit with DHL, FedEx or SkyNet. Most orders arrive within 11–14 days.
- You'll get tracking details once your order ships.
- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Grained leather is forgiving, but wipe it with a damp cloth after rain and let it dry at room temperature. A light conditioner once or twice a year keeps the grain supple. Store it on a wide hanger so the shoulders keep their line.
Size & Fit
Oversized on purpose, with a lot of room through the body and sleeves. Take your usual size for the loose look in the photos, or one size down if you'd like it closer. It goes over a chunky knit without any trouble. Chest and sleeve measurements are in the size guide, and if none of the sizes line up, made to measure works from your own at no extra cost.
A leather bomber jacket for women in black lambskin with a visible grain, cut big and loose. The tall collar fastens with two snaps, and a wide placket runs down the front over the zip, so the zip is out of sight when it’s closed.
Raglan sleeves run from the collar to banded cuffs, with a gentle fullness through the arm. Angled seams cross the chest and lead down to the side pockets, and the hem is gathered on elastic at the sides while the front panels stay flat. The leather
The lambskin here has a pronounced natural grain, more textured than the smooth, shiny lambskin often used for fitted jackets. The grain gives the black a slightly matte look and hides small scuffs well. It’s soft from the first wear and relaxes further with time, so the sleeves and body drape more loosely.
