How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other.
- Shoulders: measure across the back, from the top of one shoulder seam to the top of the other.
- Sleeve Length: measure from the shoulder seam, along the outside of the sleeve, to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: keep the jacket zipped and flat, and measure straight across at the narrowest point below the chest.
- Back Length: measure down the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

The Tom Cruise Mission Impossible leather jacket is based on the black one he wears as Ethan Hunt in Rogue Nation. The leather is crinkled and glossy, and it catches the light the way it does in the film stills. The front is bare: no chest pockets, no belts, no extra panels.

This men's black leather jacket has a wrinkled texture with a high shine rather than a smooth, flat surface. The creasing is part of the look from day one, so new creases from wear just blend in. In the studio photos the leather looks soft and fairly light. Seams are kept thin, with a single yoke line across the back and one center seam down it. Collar, pockets and cuffs
A stand collar sits above the front zipper, and the hardware is black, so it stays quiet against the leather. Two side pockets close with zippers set at a slant. The cuffs have zippers too. Open them to push the sleeves up, or close them snug at the wrist. In the film stills it is worn open over a dark knit with dark jeans, and that works just as well here. Returns
