How to measure a jacket you already own
- Chest, flat: zip the jacket, lay it flat, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
- Shoulder: measure across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
- Waist, flat: with the jacket zipped and flat, measure straight across at the narrowest point between the armpit and the hem.
- Back length: measure from the base of the collar down to the hem.

Description
Oversized Brown Leather Jacket with a Shirt Collar
The Maren is a women's oversized brown leather jacket cut with dropped shoulders and a roomy body. The brown runs warm, close to cognac, and the leather shows a light pebbled grain. A gathered hem pulls the shape back in around the hip, so the volume stays up top.
Covered Zip Front and Clean Paneling
A pointed shirt-style collar frames the neck. It lies flat when the jacket is open and keeps the front line neat. A wide leather placket covers the zipper from collar to hem. Snaps at the neck and the waistband hold that placket down, so no hardware shows across the front.
Seams do most of the visual work here. A yoke runs across each shoulder, and curved panel lines sweep across the chest toward the side seams. Two slanted side pockets sit at a natural hand height. The hem is gathered leather over elastic instead of knit ribbing, which keeps the whole exterior in one material and one color. Sleeves are full through the arm and close with a button at each cuff. Inside, a smooth fabric lining lets the jacket slide on over knitwear.
How to Wear It
The cut leaves room for a crewneck sweater or a hoodie underneath. Wear it open over knitwear with wide-leg trousers, as pictured, or zip it up over a tee and straight jeans. The hip-length hem also works with high-rise pants and midi skirts. For evening, it sits well over a slip dress with boots. Warm brown pairs easily with cream, navy, olive, and darker chocolate tones.
Think of it as a fall and spring layer first. On colder days, a heavier knit underneath does the job.

Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
