- Import duties or local taxes, where a country charges them, are paid by the customer.
Returns
- Returns, exchanges and refund requests within 30 days of delivery. Email info@theleathermaker.com with your order number to start one.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method.
- The jacket must be unworn, with the original tags attached and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the jacket arrived damaged or faulty.
- Made-to-measure and personalized jackets can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Care Details
Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry at room temperature. Condition it once or twice a year, testing the conditioner on a hidden spot first, since some products darken a distressed finish. It isn't machine washable.
Size & Fit
Slim through the chest and arms, with the padded shoulders giving it a squared-off line. Take your usual size over a T-shirt, or go up one for a hoodie or a thick knit. The size guide on this page lists chest and sleeve measurements. Made to Measure is there at no extra cost if you'd rather have it cut to your own numbers, the same as our other tailored leather jackets.
A men’s cafe racer leather jacket in brown, with a rubbed, distressed finish. The color shifts across every panel, lighter tan on the flat areas and darker toward the seams and edges, so each one comes out slightly different and looks broken in from the first wear.
Ribbed padding runs over the shoulders and down the upper arms, and again on the forearms. The front is simple: a low snap-tab collar, a straight zip, two zipped chest pockets and two slanted zipped hand pockets. The cuffs zip open, and a small tab sits at each side of the back hem. It’s one of the few leather jackets for men we pad at the forearm as well as the shoulder.
The finish
The finish gives this jacket its color: lighter tan across the flat panels, deeper brown in the creases and along the seams. Because it already looks worn, new scuffs and creases don’t stand out. They sink into the finish, and after a season or two the jacket looks better for them.
